A picnic

Today I went on my first picnic.  We went with my parents' friends Renee and Patrick.  They are expecting a little baby in September, whom I can't wait to meet.  I already have some really good tips to share on how to keep parents awake at night.

Patrick took some lovely photos of me with their super duper camera.  See below!

Sunglasses
It was also a first for me wearing sunglasses!  My Grandma Lee's Cousin Kate gave me these super cool shades.

Hair bows, pink dresses and little coats

My Grandma and Grandpa Essick are visiting me right now.  They got an extra week's visit because of the volcano!  I'll share photos of their visit soon!

My Grandma Essick gave me beautiful bows for my hair and a pink dress I love.  And my Great Auntie Elene got me this lovely brown coat.

Here are some photos from the last few days (my mom loves doing photo shoots of me. . . oh dear).

Love,
Isabella

Wimbledon

Almost every day my mom and I take a long walk together.  I'm getting to travel around a lot of Wimbledon, where I live.  Here are a few snaps of my travels.

South Park
This is a little park near my house.  It's a Victorian park with winding paths that my stroller has cruised up and down many times.

Here is a day when it was actually sunny and blue skied!

My mom stops to take a photo of me in the stroller.  I raise my eyebrow and query, "I say there, driver, why have you stopped?"

But then I smile and say, "Hah, hah, just kidding, Mom."  (She's only my driver sometimes.  She also is my chef and masseuse.)

Some Tennis
Then we stopped by the place where they play tennis.  (My mom said this is where Nadal almost ran into her, literally.)

Here I am in Centre Court's lobby.  In the photo below, I'm pondering the quote on the wall.

Hmm, maybe I should take up tennis.

I'd need to start with a cute outfit.

Wimbledon Commons
It was a lot more grey when we went to the Commons.

In my stroller's sleeping bag, I was toasty warm!

My daddy pushed my stroller.

See all the crocus and snowdrop flowers blooming.

A friendly swan who was watching us.

Hello, the movie

I am practicing another word (this one is in English)!  You can hear it in the videos below. ;)

(And here is a link to my first word, which I made up myself.)

Hello, the Movie

Saying Hello to My Daddy
(I have "hello" conversations several times a day now.
They consist of me saying "hello" and then you say "hello."
Then we repeat.  A lot.)
